“Your writing voice is the deepest possible reflection of who you are. The job of your voice is not to seduce or flatter or make well-shaped sentences. In your voice, your readers should be able to hear the contents of your mind, your heart, your soul.” – Meg Rosoff
Inside, my feelings “shout out” to be heard … and writing gives them a voice. Writing has become my way to process my feelings, and work towards understanding, defining, and releasing those feelings within me.
I offer what is inside me to those that might read this blog. In serious and playful ways, I share what I sense as I move down my path to self-discovery … writing freely from my heart and through my feelings. It is all a joyful and meaningful effort for me. If my writing can be helpful … if a word or a thought helps you make choices along your journey … then I would be grateful that I have found an even greater meaning in sharing my road to discovery through this journal of expression.
